With recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic in sight, local governments are turning their focus back to other important matters facing their communities. Some issues have been amplified during the pandemic and local governments must put their minds to “The Work Ahead”.
The Lower Mainland LGA Conference & AGM will be held virtually from May 12-14, 2021. Sessions will be on topics including what UNDRIP means for local government, the opioid crisis, climate change best practices and legal tools to support local government action, and sustainable tourism.
A robust resolutions session will be held as well as an interactive session each day so that delegates can have some much needed social interaction(albeit virtually)
